SBL’s Screw Pump is a positive displacement pump, also called feed pump. The positive displacement pump is an ideal pump for feeding to decanter centrifuge without shearing or agitating the drilling mud. The main parts are screw shaft (rotor) and screw shaft bushing (stator). Because of the special geometry shape of the two parts, they form pressurize capacity separately. SBL’s Mud Agitator is used in mud systems to suspend solids and maintain homogeneous mixture throughout the system. A mechanical agitator is driven be an explosion-proof motor, coupled to a gear box that drives the impeller shaft.

The 10” hydro cyclone desander is used to separate solids in the 40 to 100 micron range, it is incorporates a precise combination of production of proportion, angles ratios and materials to optimized separation of solids from the feed material.
The desander discharge maybe fed to a disilter for finer particle separation or directly to screening equipment. For optimum performance, the hydro cyclone requires a steady inlet feed pressure (feed head) and steady feed rate. The feed head maybe produced by gravity-feed system or a centrifugal pump.
Each 10” hydro cyclone requires a nominal inlet flow rate of 500 GPM at 75 feet of head, to accommodate high flow rate requirements, up to three hydro cyclones can be grouped together with common feed and discharge manifold.View more
The 4” hydro cyclone incorporates a precise combination of proportion, angles, ratios and materials to optimized separation of solids. The 4” hydro cyclone removes 10 to 74 micron solids from drilling mud. When large solids from 40 to 100 are expected in the drilling fluid, it should first be processed through a desander to remove oversize particles.
For optimum performance, the hydro cyclone requires a steady inlet feed pressure ( feed head) and steady feed rate, Feed pressure maybe produced by gravity-feed system or a centrifugal pump in the drilling mud recycling system. Each 4” hydro cyclone required a normal flow rate of 80 GPM at a 75’ head inlet pressure. To accommodate the high flow rate requirement of drilling industry, up to 20 hydro cyclone can be group together with common feed discharge manifolds in either round or in-line configurations.View more
